Shipping Scope

  • Regions: We currently ship to the continental United States only.

  • Restrictions: We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international locations.

  • Serviceability Disclaimer: While we strive for accuracy in our shipping settings, if our system incorrectly accepts an order for a location outside our serviceable area, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund to the original payment method.

 

Shipping Rates & Delivery Times

We utilize a robust logistics network to ensure your orders arrive safely. Our shipping methods include:

  • Standard Carriers: UPS、USPS and FedEx.

  • Amazon Fulfillment (FBA): We utilize Amazon's fulfillment network for many of our products to ensure fast and reliable delivery.

  • LTL Freight: Used for bulk or palletized orders to ensure safe handling of heavy lighting fixtures.

  • Delivery Disclaimer: Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to peak seasons, inventory shortages, pre-orders, custom items, or carrier disruptions.

Important Shipping Information:

  • Split Shipments: To ensure the fastest delivery, your order may be split into multiple shipments from different warehouses (including Amazon FBA). You may receive separate tracking numbers. For any inquiries regarding your shipment, please contact Amico Lighting directly at help@amicolight.com. Do not contact the carrier or Amazon directly, as our team is best equipped to resolve your issues.

  • LTL Freight & Pallet Deliveries: For bulk or palletized orders shipped via LTL freight:

    • Curbside Delivery: Delivery is curbside only. The carrier is not responsible for moving items inside your facility or residence.

    • Signature Required: A signature is required upon delivery.

    • Inspection Requirement (CRITICAL): Upon arrival, please inspect the pallet and packaging thoroughly before signing the Bill of Lading (BOL). If there is any visible damage, you must note the damage on the BOL and take photos. Failure to note damage on the BOL may result in the carrier rejecting your claim, and Amico Lighting will not be held liable for damages not documented at the time of delivery.

 

Sales Tax & Tax Exemption

Amico Lighting is registered to collect sales tax in jurisdictions where required by law. Currently, this includes shipments to Texas, New York, Florida, and California.

Tax Exemption:
If you are a reseller or hold a valid resale certificate, you may be eligible for tax exemption. To request a tax-exempt status, please email help@amicolight.com with the following information:

  • Company Name & Contact Info

  • Sales Tax ID Number

  • Exempted State

  • A copy of your valid Sales Tax Certificate

Important Terms:

  • Verification: We reserve the right to reject any requests that are incomplete, invalid, or do not meet state requirements.

  • Effective Date: Tax exemption status is only effective upon our written approval. We cannot retroactively refund sales tax for orders placed prior to the approval of your tax-exempt status.

  • Data Privacy & Retention: The information provided will be used strictly for tax verification and compliance record-keeping. Access is restricted to authorized personnel. We retain this data for 7 years in accordance with applicable tax laws.

 

Address Accuracy & Order Changes

  • Accuracy: Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete before submitting your order. To the extent permitted by law, Amico Lighting is not liable for items sent to an incorrectly supplied address or items you fail to collect from the carrier in a timely manner. If we identify an obviously incorrect or incomplete address, we reserve the right to contact you for verification. If we are unable to reach you within a reasonable timeframe, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund to the original payment method.

  • Changes: Once your package has left our warehouse, we cannot change the shipping address. If you need to cancel or modify your order, please email help@amicolight.com as soon as possible after placing your order. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request before the order enters the fulfillment process. However, please note that we cannot guarantee the ability to intercept an order once it has been processed or shipped. If the order has already been dispatched, we are unable to make changes, and the order will need to follow our Return Policy.

You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your package ships.

  • Note: If your order contains multiple items, they may be split into different packages or shipped from different warehouses, resulting in separate arrival times.

 

Damaged, Lost, or Incorrect Items

We strive for perfection, but if an issue arises, we are here to resolve it quickly.

  • Shipping Damage: If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery. To process your claim, please email help@amicolight.com with your order number and the following:
    • Photos of the outer box (all 6 sides), especially areas showing impact.

    • A clear photo of the shipping label.

    • Photos of internal protective materials.

    • Close-up photos of the damaged product and the SKU/Model number label on the product box.

    • Note: Failure to report damage within 48 hours or provide required documentation may result in the carrier rejecting your claim.

  • Wrong Item Received: If you received an item different from what you ordered, please email us immediately at help@amicolight.com with your order number, a photo of the shipping label, and a photo of the SKU model number on the back of the product box. We will cover all replacement costs for our errors.

  • Lost or Missing Packages: If your tracking status shows "Delivered" but you have not received your package:

    1. Contact the carrier immediately to open an investigation.

    2. Notify us at help@amicolight.com with your order number and the carrier's case number.

    3. For high-value orders, we may require a police report or an official affidavit of non-receipt before considering a replacement or refund.

    4. Note: Amico Lighting is not automatically liable for packages confirmed as "Delivered" by the carrier.

Order Cancellation

We understand that project requirements can change. We accept order cancellations as long as the order has not yet entered the shipping process.

  • Full Refund: If your order is successfully canceled before it is processed for shipping or production, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method.

  • Non-Cancellable Orders: Once an order has been processed for shipping or has entered the production phase, we are unable to cancel it.

  • How to Cancel: To request a cancellation, please contact our Customer Success team immediately at help@amicolight.com with your Order Number. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request before the order leaves our facility.


Return Eligibility

We accept returns for unused items in their original, uninstalled condition and original packaging within 30 calendar days from the delivery date.

  • Time Limits: Items must be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery. Once your return request is approved, you will have 7 business days from the date we issue the RMA or return label to drop off the package with the carrier. If there is a delay in our processing or label issuance, this timeframe will be automatically extended to ensure you have sufficient time to complete the return.

  • Item Condition: To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original, uninstalled condition with no signs of use. All original packaging (including internal protective foam and inserts), instruction manuals, and hardware accessories (such as screws, wire nuts, and brackets) must be included and intact.

  • Pallet Shipments: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping for orders shipped by pallet.


How to Initiate a Return

For the fastest processing, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email our Customer Success team at help@amicolight.com.

  2. Provide Details: Include your Order Number and the Reason for Return.

  3. Documentation: You must attach 2-3 clear photos of the product and its original packaging to prove the item is in good, resalable condition.

  4. Approval: Once approved, we will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions. Please do not return any items until you have received this label from us.


Return Shipping Costs & Fees

  • Standard Returns: If the return is due to a change of mind or incorrect ordering, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. 

  • Defective or Incorrect Items: If the return is due to a manufacturing defect, shipping damage, or an error on our part, We will cover all replacement or return shipping costs.

  • Improper Packaging & Damage: Please ensure items are packaged securely to prevent transit damage. If a return arrives damaged due to inadequate packaging, a restocking or damage fee (ranging from 15% to 50% of the item's value) will be deducted from the refund based on the severity of the damage. For items rendered unsellable, we reserve the right to deny the refund. In any such case, We will provide photographic evidence and an inspection report to justify the deduction.


Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you a notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Processing Time: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within 15 business days.

  • Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account again. Then, contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times may vary. If you have completed these steps and still have not received your refund, please contact us at help@amicolight.com.


Special Situations

  • Shipping Damage: Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If any items arrive damaged, you must notify us via email with supporting photos within 72 hours (3 calendar days) of receipt. To process your claim, please provide photos of: 1) The damaged product, 2) The shipping label, and 3) The exterior packaging. Reports submitted after this 72-hour window may not be eligible for a free replacement as carrier claim periods are strictly limited.

  • Wrong Item Received: If we sent the wrong item, we will cover all costs to rectify the error and arrange for the correct item to be shipped.

  • Quality Issues: For manufacturing defects, please refer to our Warranty Policy. In most cases, we do not require a return for defective items; we will arrange a replacement or refund based on photo evidence.
